Homestead Construction was part of the redevelopment of the NZ Campus of Innovation and Sport in Upper Hutt.
We provided a design and build service for the new Athletes Village - 50 short-stay accommodation apartments in 7 blocks and the shared Amenities Block that provides a central social space for those staying at the Village.
The Village Apartments are self-contained with two beds, a kitchenette, laundry, bathroom, and outdoor space. Many of the apartments are accessible and a few are customised for hypoxic low-oxygen training.
The Village Amenities Block features a commercial kitchen, large dining area, separate meeting spaces, and reception area. Outside there is a 3v3 basketball court.
