WAITARERE BEACH SURF CLUB.
Waitarere Beach
The new Waitarere Beach Surf Club building is a 480m2 two storey space to replace the existing building at the site, and is situated closer to the beach. Horowhenua District Council funded a majority of the new building which will be primarily used by the Levin Waitarere Surf Life Saving Club.
The ground floor includes a large storage area and changing rooms, while the first floor has a kitchen, large open lounge area and decks, committee room, and watch tower. There is also a lift for increased accessibility to the first floor.
Homestead Construction was privileged to be a part of such an iconic local project. We worked with the stakeholders from the design stage to create a really great space for the local community and surf club.
