The new Waka Ama St development for Kainga Ora in Porirua was completed in August 2024 after 12 months of construction. There are a total of 18 units across 12 dwellings - a mix of stand-alone, duplex, and walk-up apartments. All the units are 2-storey and include off-road parking.

These homes were built to exceed the Homestar 6 certification requirements.
